Robert Compton and David Wilson are married.

The couple are married in a ceremony officiated by pastor Rev. Kim Crawford at the Arlington Street Church. The first same-sex couple to legally marry in the U.S., they had been among the plaintiffs in the Goodridge case, which cleared the way for Massachusetts to become the first state in the U.S. to allow same-sex marriages. The lead plaintiffs in the case, Hillary and Julie Goodridge, are wed soon after at the Unitarian Universalist Association headquarters.
